Facilities

With assistance from CN EcoConnexions - From the Ground Up program, in partnership with Tree Canada and Communities in Bloom, a new pollinator garden and meadow was planted by community volunteers.  The garden is located conveniently behind the Delpark Homes Centre and consists of:

• shade trees;
• flower beds designed and planted with a variety of plant species that will attract pollinators such as birds, bats, bees, and butterflies; 
• seating; and,
• a pathway which will eventually connect users to the future Harmony Creek Trail extension.

This garden and the surrounding natural area will help to raise awareness about native plants and the importance of pollination.  Learn more about the Pollinator Gardens.
